Public Relations and you - Armageddon Publicity
« on: March 21, 2019, 01:38:12 PM »
I was gonna revive this since not everyone has access to the Publicity section of this GDB but decided to start a new one instead.

We can all agree that advertising pays. Most of us have YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and all the other hip places old people like me do not know about. Every once in a while I'll tag Arm on Facebook (like yesterday where I tagged 39 players I am friends with on the facebook) or Instagram (like this picture of me spanking a stormstrooper at one of the DragonCon APMs).

It isn't enough to vote. We have 500 people on the Discord and over 4000 GDB accounts. All we need is a handful to start. A teensie tiny commitment from a few to shout us out to the world.

Like my public posts, make your own posts about Armageddon public! Hashtag tf out of everything. Make videos!

Let's use all the social media resources we can to bring in new players and maybe some of the old ones back now that they're entering retirement age. Can ya'll believe we're hitting thirty years in two more?

Let's make sure we're here for 100 years

Is paid advertising (Facebook, Adwords, etc.) an option? I don't remember if there was an official pronouncement on this.

I posted a comment on the trailer, I'll share it with Facebook and Twitter.

So did the internet, because it doesn't work.

It worked when I posted it. It was a video of cabbage discussing Armageddon from 5 years ago. It was hilarious.

Who made this?

Guilty.

Here was the original thread, with the link to the “players only” alternate ending version.  The links seemed broken a second ago, but that might be my phone.
You know I think if James simply retitled his thread "Cheese" and apologized for his first post being off-topic, all problems would be solved.
