Custom crafting continued
« on: September 28, 2017, 09:07:58 PM »
I did recently submit a custom craft item, but I did not see the option to make the item reproducible, but only by the House. It needs to be restricted, given it's purpose in the game. Is this something that someone will ask me prior to approval of said item? (or disapproval, in which case it's moot :)

Generally this is not up to the player, it's up to staff.  If it's an armor item and you're in Salarr, yeah it makes sense that nobody else can make it.  If you're writing a cloak though and you're in the Byn, we'll likely let the whole playerbase do it, unless there is some compelling reason to do otherwise.

As Seidhr alluded to, some organizations just don't have a crafting background.  For example, the Southern Noble Houses don't really produce things like armor or silk cloaks.  They ask GMH to do it for them.
