How Many PCs Have You Had?

Sinjinn <3'd my gypo.  ;D Too bad he was an elf. Could never stop being wary around him, and unfortunately, no relationship or even real friendship of any sort.  :'(

32! Feels like fewer. I thought this thread looked dumb but you guys seem to be having so much fun.

I had 6 characters before the bio system and I lost my last account notes request so I don't know their details. Brace was one. Hursh, the claw-fingered delf that is responsible for a gross little den near tuluk was another. Sehit, my first tan muark who usually only spoke once a day (if that), was another. Narsul and a couple other nobodies. I don't remember. It begins after that with a 5 year run as...

7. Sevdali - Better known as Veddi. 120+ day TM ranger. Had a gwoshi companion/bodyguard. Had a collection of signet rings and magick artifacts. Tamed a Roc. I'm still sad.
8. Zefe - rinth breed
9. Orsus - mul
10. Amion - whiran
11. Wybryn - my first dwarf, god I just don't do well with dwarves
12. Voroqua - HAHA. Nilazi that wanted to dissect magickers. Big plans. Died almost immediately to code mixups.
13. Dufritun - I dunno byn throwaway
14. Sathias - Templar Ianolius or something like that. I don't remember why I stored. He was fun and had wild talents and shiny fancyboy armor that Samos made fun of.
15. Cezali - Tried another tan muark and the spark just wasn't there. Nobody wanted to party, they were afraid of getting drunk because they had to drive the wagon and shit. Stored.
16. Dagrin - KRATHI MUL MOTHAFUKA part of whatshername's cuddle puddle, though he hated getting recruited and wanted to turn the tower into a chimney fire. Somebody poisoned the water at the base of the tower, and he had no cures. Durrr.
17. Nyun - human warrior. I've never been so crass. Thought it was charming to talk about how badly he wanted to rape someone. DROWNED.
18. Bevin - half-giant. Fun fact, Bevin was the tree troll acrobat at the kansas city renaissance festival when I was a rennie kid. Dude built this huge rope net system high in the trees. Would've broken so many codes and regulations these days.
19. Roark - who knows another mul
20. Horace - Rinthi drovian I think
21. Xuthsula - solitary ranger type, joined like 3 different clans and quit because he just hated everything. I think he got sucked into a death room way out in the reaches.
22. Scyral - Elven sorcerer who heard voices coming from the sewers, teaching him strange words... probably got sewer horror'd.
23. Yedrick - a half-giant modeled after my old boss, an artist blacksmith who just didn't GET people.
24. Koserek - Koe Kurac, lieutenant. Probably a little more fun than even Veddi, probably because kurac was hopping and once Asil died there was a TON of stuff going on.
25. Zaal - ugly and boring, probably stored
26. Ryik - Rinth dwarf, stored
27. Gilin - beats me, bored and stored
28. Erren - somehow the same? stored
29. MYSTERY because I didn't store until this year, though he was created in july 2015 to be Ryan Gosling from Drive (minus the car) and make my wife laugh. Said "Hey girl" a LOT.
MYSTERY from here on out boyo

I simply could not get interested in this game from about 2012 until just a few months ago. Now here I am, forgetting to eat dinner. It looks like I almost never stored until that period. I'd almost always go neck-deep and ride those freaks until they got eaten.

Leaving in only notables or vaguely notable:

  7) Sjante / Chases Falls - Sun Runner and Gavram, murdered after giving birth by a tribe mate (in a way that I wasn't thrilled with but I saw it coming and let it). Very upsetting :(
  8. Lyvrenxice - Heathen Templar Lyvren. Pretty powerful, had some things up her sleeve she never used. I let her die in order to focus on real life and get past some shit, probably shouldn't have in the end.
  9) Corinne  / Carrie - Deaf girl in Kurac. Partly secret Nilazi, out to a Kuraci at the time. Didn't like how the magic made her feel, liked her mundane life enough to give it up entirely. The role was tough. It was surprising how isolated it felt to play a deaf PC even when she was highly social.
  11) Asennea / Asenne - Whiran, ended up basically in a Gemmed leadership role which got to be far too much for me trying to have a chill out PC.
  12) Fortuna / Julisen Kassigarh - Lirathan made New Templar. Hated the new way of doing things, actively refused to train in the manner of the New Templarate, in favour of learning by her own merits, cutting her off further and further from the collective. Still alive and at large.
  13) Meriya - Wealthy albino turned businessy woman turned Dust Runner. Too recent to discuss.
  15) Elena / Revel of Dawn- Burned out Bahak, died after githy ambush when needing to return home alone after her escort was in a grump with her.
  16) [Redacted]
  17) [Redacted]
  18) [Redacted]

1.  Asil -- Guild merchant.  Jihaen partisan who became a Kuraci Agent, earned literacy and a bodyguard and other fun things.  Died to a harebrained political maneuver that was so audacious I never saw it coming.
2.  Stellvia -- Guild burglar, Borsail noble.  Noted as a librarian, wrote a lot of books, was a really garbage administrator of the Amber Wyverns  and was nearly murdered 2-3 times for poking her nose where it didn't belong before being placed on indefinite house arrest for the same.  In my erroneous headcanon she is still alive and became an immortal sorcerer offscreen
3.  Samira -- Stored very quickly
4.  Atrus -- Stored very quickly
5.  ??? -- Current

Okay, maybe Erythil wins the thread.  :o

I'd put only the notable ones in, I guess.

Renn - a borsail wyvern Ranger who knew NOTHING about the code. Made it to Corporal without leaving the city a single time and probably couldnt kill a snake if he had to. People kept giving him weapons to identify poison on, and I didnt know there was such a feature, so I just roleplayed it out. Was really into being a physician. Would hire guild/AoD/others to bring him corpses and would dissect them in his apartment. ldescing everything to make it look like a Nilazi den from hell. No one ever accused him of being a gicker for some reason. Met a blind man and performed an operation on his eyes. Outside on the Red's balcony. In middle of a heavy sandstorm. He wriggled a lot, so I had to peraine him. I'm still sad about that, I wish I could see his emotes. I wonder if he survived my operation. I was removing his cataracts, or some such. I sent logs of my corpse dissection to staff hoping for a bandage skill bump, but they couldnt figure heads and tails from it.

My first encounter with the frustration of brew code. Taught Kharad Tor how to make cures by spitting into the bowl and making him eat stuff from there.  Then asked him to pay me later on and got smacked on the head.

Setacha - Was one of two RF who created the RF camp in the Canyons of Waste. Probably the reason why in help Tent right now it says, "Do not use tents as a permanent camp. They are BUGGY!" Once tricked a Dune Stalker and robbed her of her knife. Traded it back for a year of loyalty, refreshed for another year if she fails to defeat him in a duel. Died to an SLK Arrow.

Ashad Lyrun - An Akai Sjir who was created middle rank, but was promoted to Dealer. He was fun. I loved thinking shit about Qoriya in front of her. She made fun of Akai Sjir's stoneworking ability, so she became someone he detested for a long long long while. Until she saved the life of some other Sjir. But it was kind of late at that point. I was working pretty complicated schemes with Desert Elves. Ended up dealing with a lot of sorcery with akei'ta'var. During the Long Night, right before the flood, Akei'ta'var offered Akai Sjir to leave Tuluk and come live with them instead. Ashad was disloyal to the Templarate, but still considered Muk Utep as part of his tribe. So he chose not to tell the Elders of the offer.  One time, asked a fellow tribe mate to kill himself, because he was a rogue gicker that was quietly ushered out of the city for his walk and came to live with Red Fang. Some Lirathan Templar paid Red Fang to escort him back to Tuluk and he warned Ashad on his way over. I asked him to kill himself before he reached the city. He did it. My deep compliments and respects. Probably how my dislike of the Templarate began.  Dead by flood, aka just walking around randomly while blind until Nyr went, "Okey. Dude. I gotta kill you now. You've walked past so many death spots by now"

Ash - Halves. A drovian rinthi elf who was quickly invited into Jaxa Pah along with another Nilazi witch. Which caused the tribe to briefly splinter due to magick hatred. Killed the Nilazi and left the tribe to become this 'guardian' of the Rinth. Since the whole chara concept relied on me being Jaxa Pah, I lost interest in him and tried to actively have him die. The fucker refused to keel over. In the end, I ended up trying to rob a Templarate's Estate. Getting caught by a Red Robe. Tried to pickpocket him as he was dragging him to Jail. In Jail, during an interrogation of the Blue Robe, spammed poems at him. Then tricked him and escaped the jail. Left the jails and went "back" to the Estate to try to rob it again. Got Caught by the Red Robe ... again. Ran with a perma wanted on me. After some dealing and  wheeling. Got the Blue Robe I tricked earlier to remove my wanted flag, then give me rl weeks of magick enchantments, as well as magickal artifacts. In return, I've given him a Jihaen Templar armor that he put on some slave and then had him poetically die in an Arena. As well as a bunch of other stuff that later turned into pretty cool RPTs.  Eventually died to RF. I do think I could've won that fight and kill both of those RFs (Or at least, I think so. They confused a room and laid a trap in a different location, for me to easily observe them). But ... they were awesome RFs and I wanted to die. So I dumbed it out.

Ripples - A Jaxa Pah burglar. He was a cool elf, because he killed a few people by laying devious plans, instead of doing it himself. Was once hidden inside an apartment where some Templar and his aide were smoking spice and talking sikrit shit. I couldnt help myself and emoted along with them while hidden. Something about the smoke. They rolled with it, I think. Also inserted himself into some random Allanaki well roleplayed out family and ... meddled. Paid a Byn Sargeant to hold an object in his inventory for a year. Then created a competition in the rinth to go steal that key. The agreement was if the Sargeant managed to keep the object, he'd be paid. Nobody freaking stole that damn thing. I actually periodically went to the Sargeant and stole/replanted it just to see he wasnt cheating. He wasnt at the time. Rinth was full of very honest, muscle-bound elves. Stored because I'm stupid.

Thonas - Aka Red, aka Ginger. A youth pickpocket from Tuluk who liked to think himself as a master of con artistry and hated Akai Sjir. Had everyone convinced he was a ranger so well that he ended up holding a class on dual wield for Al'seik/Arabetti. Was eventually hired to kill Lyvren's aide, so he went to Allanak and killed her. But did it so quickly and shittily. It also was his first and only murder of a human being. He was young, and he did not enjoy it at 'all'. Later on, had a talk with Lyvren and had her make him become the 'detective' to find out the murderer of her aide. Did such a good job playing detective, Qoriya had to ask him to stop framing akai Sjir. Also asked Stellvia if she could send her guards away, so he could bend her over the table and do things to her. He was an idiot savant. Died by pissing off a Whiran.

Shaze - An Aide to Takharion the Jal. A nilazi/jeweler who did not manifest for pretty much his entire gameplay. None of what he did and achieve was done through magick. Would suck the energies out of people by touching (via feels and thinks). So he was very touchy/feely. A complete sociopath with insect logic that learned to mimic the normal humans and longed to be like them. Due to a massive exposure to magick education, ended up realizing he was a mage and eventually escaping Allanak. Died to some NPC a rl week later, but I didnt care. My quiet time was over, so I knew I'll be on an extended break any moment.

Shower Aka Sho - A rinthi nilazi who lived underground and hunted rats. The emptiness robbed him of emotions and made him perpetually numb to everything. Devised a way to siphon lifeforce from others in order to feel again. "Ate" this pretty loveable Tuluki aide that escaped for some whatever reason. Got her to volunteer to a ritual in order to rejoin some Tuluki lover she lost to a Rentarri. Her joy and loveliness had him feeling like a normal human being for almost an entire month. I loved Sho's personality. But then things happened and he had to do something that nilazi tend to do, which flooded him with hooks of another personality. That personality gave him more options (he stopped being agoraphobic, etc), but he was a LOT less nuisanced then original Sho. Then work flared up and I had to do a bunch of breaks from the game. Eventually died to a Kryl, because ... I honestly didnt give a shit at the time. I was trying to remember how to type out proper emotes after a long break.

(redacted) - To be honest. I liked playing Red/Ginger so I made another youngster Troll. He was in the Byn and liked drawing dick pics. A very fun little dude.

PS: I know. I know. This whole post is just one big brag. But damn, it was nice to relive those experiences and I miss Arm so much.

I think I have the best dead/stored ratio. All my stores (2) were to take up other roles.

I'm on #50, since 2003.

1) Tyrenth - Dead (rinth elf vs gith)
  2) Haldurn - Dead (rinth elf vs rinth)
  3) Trystan - Dead (Aced by Lieutenant Sabin of Winrothol)
  4) Veren - Dead (Tembo'd)
  5) Cyran - Dead (PK'd as a newbie, for no reason, still ticked)
  6) Blite - Dead (This is the char that lived through the 'Rinth 'Kill them all', escaped with a 2000 sid value jade mace, died in the Folley to aggro)
  7) Luthor - Dead (cliff, carru)
  8) Drahmin - Dead (rantarri after internet died)
  9) Eth - Dead (twitchy)
  10) Saerath - Dead (legionnaire medic - lived through the mantis attack, chased a criminal into UT and eaten by cilops)
  11) Arvir - Dead (vortex-eyed mutant, Tenneshi assassin, killed by Winrothol assassin)
  12) Aesgeld - Dead (twitchy)
  13) Fej - Dead (Kadian thief, heart attack)
  14) Otikus - Dead (The Magistrate)
  15) Kijet - Dead (Kija's son, died in a gith pit)

  18) Sniffer - Dead (beetle)
  19) Yeek - Dead (The bug-fearing UnderTuluki half-giant, cameo in the Kryl battle submission!)

  21) Piss - Dead (Water mage, killed by some other water mage)
  22) Hack - Dead (Dwarf - focus = commit one act of every crime and killed in sparring)
  23) Aeron - Dead
  24) Amos - Dead (Krathi war-mage from Yaroch, beetle)
  25) Crass - Dead (Guild bruiser, remember when that Ruk attacked the folley, sigh)
  26) Howler - Dead (wind mage, oopsie threw himself into the sea)
  27) Jezerain - Dead (Akai Sjir thief, killed in rinth on his walk)
  28) Sikin - Dead (idled)
  29) Mercy - Dead (Gith?)
  30) Cobosh - Dead
  31) Ahmar - Dead (The red-maned tribal who wrestled oxen and subdued raptors by hand, spider swarm!)
  32) Chance - Dead (twitchy)
  33) Suramin - Dead ( AOD private- Torgun said 'hey lets go look for spiders')
  34) Siltjack - Dead (Kurac Sarge, keywords with cleaning fluid)

  37) Aon - Dead (Aon Uaptal, last of the Jihaens, master manipulator and purger of his House)

38-50) Dead / too close except my current!
I tripped and Fale down my stairs. Drink milk and you'll grow Uaptal. I know this guy from the state of Tenneshi. This house will go up Borsail tomorrow. I gave my book to him Nenyuk it back again. I hired this guy golfing to Kadius around for a while.

35) Gaff - Dead

Ok, this one had me giggle

Okay, maybe Erythil wins the thread.  :o

The argument could be made that I'm not actually good at living a long time, I'm just a wimp and don't take enough risks.

Same here, I still manage to die somehow.

I haven't asked for my account notes for several many years so I don't have a complete list. Mostly it goes like this:

1. SUPER LONG LIVED CHARACTER
2. Throwaway to try a guild it turns out I hate
3. Throwaway to try a race/locale it turns out I hate.
4. Throwaway I try in a place that has no other PCs that play during my time zone.
5. SUPER LONG LIVED CHARACTER

I think if you don't count PCs that I bore-stored with less than a day of playtime, I've only had about eight or nine characters in over a decade. I tend to know pretty early on when a concept "clicks" for me and don't bother when it doesn't. Back in the day before I understood the rules I actually played over two accounts and shared what ended up being my account with a friend, lol. The actual number of PCs played by me including gladiators and such is 28.

Since I don't have the account-notes style list, here's some notables:

1. Fathi, breed Byn Sergeant. First PC. A grand intro to the game. Fell off the Shield Wall at least four times. Died memorably in the fighting pits at Luirsfest. What a great intro to the game.

2. Jik aka Midge. Second PC. Feral child turned eventual literate Salarri Agent/Advisor. Willing lab rat for a mindbender.  Suffered a traumatic brain injury. Got eggs laid in her guts. Lived. Ran the Expansion Division for about a year or so-ish after Khortoc faked his death. Accidentally got her hands on an artifact that sent her to $WeirdLocation once and somehow lived through that too. Pretty resilient. Eventually Betrayed Everybody. Good times! Definitely my most epic character by the scale of her adventures and the relationships with her friends/enemies/squad over time. Probably my best clan experience.

3. Lanais aka Lan. Fifth or so PC. Whiran who escaped Tuluk with her brother and had some fun times in the wastes before dying too soon to poisoned meat. At one stage was going to kidnap a guy and poofed into where he was chilling in the wilderness only to discover he too was a Whiran and couldn't be kidnapped.

4. Yskali Lyksae. Ranger noble. Really loved a few PCs in her squad but Tuluk was frustratingly dead at the time and then I had to store her because I was moving halfway around the world into an even more off-peak time slot. Also discovered I wasn't really that keen on playing another ranger. Why did I even pick that guild?

5. Yrai, the last Dune Stalker and eventual Sun Runner slave.  One of my favourites. In hindsight her death was something I could have easily prevented with a wish but I was too dumb to think of it at the time. (She was struggling with the whole 'Sun Runner not drinking water' thing and dehydrated in the desert and limped to Cenyr for water. The game crashed. She tried to sell some stuff but none of the merchants had any coin because of the reboot. I probably could have wished up and explained the situation... *facepalm*)

6. Raissa aka Rai Kurac. Fist Sergeant. Chronically ill spice addict greenhorn who hated being transferred to Luir's at first but eventually grew to love it. Didn't have many friends outside the Fist save for Isatep and Calomi, one of whom she was In Lesbians with and the other she wished she could. :P Lasted for a couple years but my time zone was frustrating and I felt like a bad clan leader because of it. Eventually stored over a misunderstanding with my clan staff at the time when there was a staffing switchover and someone forgot to tell the new guys I was on vacation for three months. However I felt awful about taking up a leader role when I could only reliably play from 2AM to 8AM EST so I didn't fight the storage and told myself no more clan leaders. Really enjoyed this PC when I had time to play her.

7. Kolo aka Kolorille aka Slack aka Laughter aka Drift aka The Lady Walks Unseen. Her face didn't work. I RPed a character who couldn't make facial expressions for like FOUR YEARS. Scrappy urchin who ran errands for Jarls and was eventually shunted into the Atrium by Stellvia Borsail. Good times were had. Completely bugfuck insane, would hallucinate constantly, thought she could hear insects buzzing when other people spoke to her normally. Had incredible times in the Atrium as a teenage misfit, hero worshipped Lantry Stetson and eventually ate his heart after roasting it on an open fire. Kept the knucklebones of her dead friends in a pouch around her neck. Once she ate Lantry's heart she believed she underwent a spiritual transformation and acquired his fearlessness. Overcame her pathological fear of blood and politics alike to eventually rise to Senior Advisor in Borsail and a lofty rank-might-be-too-IC-to-say in the Guild.

She was kind of a "secret" character that not many people got to know well or saw very often because of her reclusiveness and that was honestly a lot of fun. Could write at length about her adventures now that it's been long enough. Probably my favourite PC to date.

Her biggest thing was that she never actually lied to people that mattered to her, so if at any point someone in Borsail asked if she'd become a crime lord she'd have just said yes and tried to explain that she had really good reasons, I swear.
And I vanish into the dark
And rise above my station

173, I think.

I get bored easily.
We were somewhere near the Shield Wall, on the edge of the Red Desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I wish I had the time to explore Kolorille more with Shaze. If we didnt betray each other over a whole bunch of reasons.

I found my PCs by opening a Request/Character. The drop down for 'which PC' included the first one (2006?)

Everyone else is doing it, so here goes. The ones who are potentially memorable, relatively speaking, are bolded.

  1) Isooru - Dead
  2) Kirasa - Dead
  3) Eskeli - Dead - My only tribal character (Anyali).
  4) Vaclava - Stored
  5) Aliera - Dead - Not the noble, but named after her. The role started as a response to an ad for PC twins (with Nerissa) of an existing character (whom Ali never met). My longest-lived by days played. Best clan experience (Kurac) by far.
  6) Naijou - Stored
  7) Ommit - Dead
  8) Diri - Dead - Most unintentionally amusing death, with a botched apartment ambush.
  9) Gryta - Dead - First magicker. Had a lot of fun opposing the dominant clique of gemmed at the time. Died in gith invasion.
  10) Caprice - Dead - Easily my favorite character. Very much "against type" for me, but so much fun to play. Elkinhym/Lyksae.
  11) Izda - Stored
  12) Jalena - Dead - Salarri family. None of my characters has been so good at making enemies as Jalena. She had some loyalists, but those who disliked her, really disliked her. Frankly, I wish I could bottle that trait, because it made for some fun and interesting moments.
  13) Wytlee - Stored
  14) Marilla - Stored - My one and only attempt at a noble (Dasari). I wish I could have made it work, but didn't see how at the time.
  15) Tiasoma - Dead
  16) Kyrtia - Dead
  17) Malryn - Stored
  18) Jori - Stored
  19) REDACTED
  20) REDACTED

Damn those were good days.  Such an amazing crew.
Yes. Read the thread if you want, or skip to page 7 and be dismissive.

Stop being shitty to each other.

Playing with Caprice as Chaska the Jul Tavan was an awesome time in Tuluk :-)
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

I had Fulmini, a breed who died to having been poisoned by a water source near Allanak. She interacted some with a dwarven male with a tattoo of three teardrops going down his cheek who I am pretty sure ended up killing several people in Tuluk in a very non-Tuluki way. He had wanted to start an organized crime ring or something. I wonder what became of him.

I'm posting again 'cause people started giving more detail on their PCs and... I like sharing.

2001:
Alanna(ranger, before subguilds I think?) - died to gith(18 hours)
Thyet(ranger, also before subguilds) - killed by a player.... Don't remember what happened, I think sparring accident, she was a Bynner.(4 days, 11 hours)
Thalina(warrior, also before subguilds) - killed by Allanaki solider(in occupied Tuluk)... Also Bynner, basically I went straight back to the Byn and said I was my pervious PCs friend... Yah, shame on me. Ended up joining Kadius and working for Merchant Amos and Yasina(she was recruited to do a belly dance at the OLD Sanctuary by Yasina(sp?)).(45 days, 8 hours)

2002:
Kelbina(merchant, no subguild??) - killed by as player(Borsail I think for refusing to have sex with him??). Fale noble. Was a TON of fun. The imm(now staff) at the time manifested a Golden Kank that only she could see, and also a little roach that would climb on other PCs shoulders. It was such a blast. Always wished I'd gone back to play in Fale again.(20 days, 6 hours)
Yashana(warrior, hunter) - killed by a player.... No idea. Likely a Bynner in a sparring accident. I did a lot of Bynning in my early days.(2 days 4 hours)
Melisha(warrior, weaponcrarfter) - carrued, likely my first attempt at a Tuluki based PC, during occupation(12 hours)
Ketia(warrior, weaponcrafter) - githed, also likely a Bynner(1 day 16 hours)
Tia(warrior, jeweler) - githed, I think did a year in Byn and then joined Kadius? I also played in Kadius a lot in my early years.(13 days)
Nahfari(warrior, archer) - carrued. Northern Kadian hunter if I'm remembering correctly. More than likely spent at least a year in the Byn. I -think- she was in the Byn during the time on Sujaal? One of my Byn PCS went on a silt horror hunt and got to ride a skimmer. I feel like it was her.(33 days, 17 hours)

2003:
Hallen(warrior, merc, dwarf) - shot by a player.... My only attempt at a dwarf. I remember Shaleah's PC at the time took me in and I found out a year later at an APM that my boss was her, LOL.(1 day, 5 hours)
Enthatril(merchant, jeweler) - immportal furry(I RPed her falling down the stairs and breaking her neck 'cause I was bored) Kadian family Merchant. Was around during Kronibas(I forget his PCs name) when he had the gortok type pets that you could have follow you around. Don't really remember much.(10 days, 18 hours)
Jeana(pick-pocket, acrobat) - no idea! I don't remember her at all.(2 hours)
Nass(warrior weaponcrafter, half-giant) - My only real attempt at a HG, and I loved it. I worked for either Tenneshi or Winrothol right after the Houses opened up. She had a baby with another HG, and quints. I had people lined up to play her first born, but then I started college and wound up not playing that much and stored her.(21 days, 6 hours)

2004:
Jeanna(warrior thug) - Stored. I think this was my first Salarri, and it was right after the new Subguilds were added. Probably played in Tuluk as by this time I mostly played up there(13 days, 18 hours)

2005:
Nymina(ranger, guard) - raptored. Byn for a bit, then most likely joined Kadius.(1 day, 18 hours)

HUGE break. Came back thanks to Mansa, Kronibas, Sepheroto, and others at the 2008 APM.

2008:
Lorana(warrior, caravan guide) - force stored for being bad Tuluki noble. I think most of the players at the time know what happened there, but I did have a ton of fun with her and my staff at the time, Shabago, had a lot of fun messing with my PC. She was around for early Raleris.(60 days, 21 hours)

2009:
Amber(stone elementalist, jeweler) - dead by player. I basically wimped out on playing a gicker and she got angry while foraging for stones and started casting. Never played one since.(4 hours)
Lahna(merchant, bard) - death by player. Started as Alanaki bard and almost immediately traveled north and joined Kadius. Attempted to get into Circle but as s southie never could.(18 days, 8 hours)
Tanua(ranger, noman) - gizhat. She was a Rusarla Bard(apprentice). Went to Kadius again like a bad player, I've always gravitated towards them. She was fun, but has the most fun with a Groot Apprentice named Vo.(4 days, 20 hours)
Celi(ranger, tailor, Arabet) - force stored by staff. Had so much insane fun with Celi. Got stomed on by a mek with Salarr, fell off shield wall into a bunch of gith and survived. She traveled all over and I -think- she nearly learned allundean from all her dealings with the desert elves. I seem to remember successful arrangement with Red Fang. She mostly spent time in Tuluk, attempted to get a Arabet shop opened like the Jul Tavan had. Had a LARGE bribe that she carted in for Quoriya, but Nenyuk stole it all(like 10k) and while Raleris felt sorry for her, Qoriya did not. Was around for the black moon in the sky and the Seik joining the Arabet tents.(66 days, 4 hours)

2010:
Rayta(warrior, house servant) - stored. My attempt to force myself to play away from most people I knew. Joined Borsail. Was fun at first but then there was no one around for ages and I got bored(2 days, 21 hours)
Vaeronika(merchant, physician) - Quoriyed. She was a bard, in sponsored by Dasari. Had great times with her as well, and she was likely to tell stories using little figurines. I really wanted to MC some puppets, but I did something stupid as a player and should have known better and so she got killed. Have a pretty awesome log of her telling a templar a story when some other PC bard got pissy over something really stupid.(12 days, 2 hours)
Xaina(ranger, nomad, half-elf) - carrued. My first Salarr PC. Tuluki of course. By this point I was getting really bored again and wasn't playing much(11 days, 19 hours)
Subagita(merchant, armormaker) - stored(due to all of Tuluk being stored and I wasn't playing). I started her because from previous PC I knew there were nobles and templars wanting MC gear but there were not PC merchants to make it, so I made her to help out and hadn't planned on really playing much. She was 15 when she joined. There's more to tell about this PC than all my others combined. Most of my past PCs were very sexual, and I hadn't planned on ending that, but things happened IG and she wouldn't leave the compound for a year and was scared to men she didn't know for a really long time. Got to Merchant by 18, mastered every craft skill a merchant could get(and I attempted to get Brew added since she spent time learning(and organizing) about plants, alas, never happened). She helped add to the kryl armor, made the ENTIRE SET of the Legion kryl armor, made peace and trade arrangements with Soh and Sun Runners. Learned to speak fluent bendune, allundean, and was pretty good(see: advanced) at mirukkium when I stopped playing. Was also a bard, apprentice. I think Groot? I forget, sadly. She had a huge collection of masks. She could never remember names because I was too lazy to make a nice list with notes. I loved that quirk about her. Helped build the Salarri green wagon that was stationed in Tuluk.(96 days, 22 hours). She was around for 21 IG years(stored at 36). I still have ALL my notes I made and sent to staff(I had PAGES that I sent weekly for updates) on her. Best PC I've done ever.

I've only had two PCs since then, one was someone no one would remember, but was within a year of last played, and then my current PC.

Qoriya never felt sorry for anyone, but she was concerned about losing the money which on her end was intended for boosting the restoration of Freil's Rest after the Deluge. Apparently a certain Senior Agent of Nenyuk was most unhappy with a thrashed apartment but on the other hand very happy to sponsor the restoration of the village.

Her death was the result of some political mess, if I'm not wrong. And there was the part about having someone else's master bard crafted prize instrument/case, which didn't help at all.

Yep. See "I did something stupid as a player(ect)".

EDIT: As for other part, that happened right after Nyr took over as tribal staff and I was still on his shitlist from the BS I did as Lorana. Months of being a great tribal with prior staff, and not even 2 weeks of Nyr and I was stored.

I had Dayna, a water witch/whatever who had never actually done anything bad after chargen but, uh. A dwarven woman had befriended her mother while she was pregnant, and then helped her deliver the baby and killed the mother when it was over. She raised the baby herself and trained her to assist her in her goal of killing 1000 undesirables. She would 'sell stuff' and invite the buyer to her apartment and Dayna would lock them in. Eventually the dwarf did get caught and Dayna got away scot free. She was ten at the time.

Cue chargen. Dayna doesn't know she's a witch; she buys some armor and gets into the Byn. After a couple of months they go on a spider-hunting contract and she gets knocked out. They rest in a cave and I have her emote mist healing a few of her wounds. They wake her up and tell her and she does not believe it. This is the point during which the templarate is offering rewards for rogues who are brought in, so they get a little money for me.

She did not make friends easily and was brusque and somewhat cold but she made one friend, a half-elf from the Byn. After roleplaying the sort of completely normal life I usually do, and waying him and such, she eventually told him about her childhood. She never, ever said to him, or to herself or had a think of whether she would have continued doing that focus if she weren't too young to continue by herself.

I got two kudos for her. I'll never have a character that awesome again.

gorgio: someone who is not romani, not a gypsy.
kumpania: a family of story tellers.
vardo: a horse-drawn wagon used by British Romani as their home. always well-crafted, often painted and gilded

I guess I'll make out a more complete list, though nobody cares about my PCs :)

1) Ralor - Dead (Human Ranger, 2 hour death, notes don't even tell me why)

2) Sirlil - Dead (Human Ranger 2, 6days played over 7 IC years, got halflinged)

3) Christan - Dead (Human Warrior, got kylori'd. Flee is hard)

4) Derrikan - Dead (Human Ranger (this is why I don't play Rangers anymore), actually PK'd)

5) Merolan - Dead (Human Warrior, 2hours played)

6) Darran - Dead (Human Warrior, quit at negative HPs, think this was a duskhorn attack)

7) Innuk - Dead (D-elf Warrior, Innuk Chuck, got killed by a cilops)

8) Sadiran - Dead (D-elf warrior, 5hours in got gith'd)

9) Rinjar - Dead (Human assassin, got duskhorn'd)

10) Sandin - Dead (dwarf assassin, wanted to "take the head of a bahamet solo", 2 hours in and died)

11) Jisaine - Dead (Human Drov spec app, got PK'd by whiran and orange scrabs (which explains why to this day, I still think scrabs are orange like in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysey despite most being colored black)

12) Jarren - Dead (Human Assassin, 5hours in and quit while dying)

13) Sidhan - Dead (Dwarf Warrior, "defend against any and all attacks imaginable". I'm good at dwarves...)

14) Yaran - Dead (Human Drov, made it 7days played, actually learned a high level magicker ability from Templar Samos. Pretty sure it was a Corporal Kelsin of the Legions PK)

15) Azhan - Dead (dwarf warrior, says I was killed by a golden-eyed elf, maybe a PK?)

16) Merrol - Dead (Human warrior, 3 hours in got duskhorn'd (they're pretty beefy, guys))

17) Rinsat - Dead (Human Viv, got 2 days in and got PKd)

18) Belarus - Dead (Dwarf Warrior, got cilops'd within 1d played)

19) Aristol - Dead (Human Burglar, got gortok'd within 5 hours)

20) Darrken - Dead (Dwarf Warrior, made it 13days played in Kadius, I believe, before I got reel-locked by a bahamet)

21) Kaleb - Dead (Human Burglar, killed by a woman within 8hours of play... PK possible)

22) Satiki - Dead (Delf warrior, 1day played, died from cilops poison because 20+ characters in, and I didn't know what cures were. Did kill the cilops, and the inix that was in the room too, because it was a blinding sandstorm and I survived!)

23) Guldar - Dead (Human Ruk, killed by a Halfling after almost 7days played)

24) Rhaday - Dead (Human burglar, got PK'd)

25) Creek - Stored (First long-lived PC (over 60days played), Sergeant in the Legions. As the first long lived character, made a lot of mistakes. Would fight gizhat in the grasslands, barehanded, because he wanted to work on wrestling things bigger than himself. Got whisked away to the Labyrinth by a protector of the Grasslands for it, and because I didn't understand what was happening, was telling people "I'm on... I think its Hathor's?" because... stupid. Branched Pike weapons, survived the Great Deluge, rescued a Jihaen Templar during it. Kept trying to get into the Ivory Guard as a Sergeant over a virtual unit of Pike specialists, but could never get a Jihaen and a Lirathan to agree on anything.)

26) Kaden - Dead (Human pickpocket, got HG soldiered)

27) Konnarden - Stored (Human pick-pocket the second, this time I learned. Made it to 20days played, got hired into Salarr because he found three people at the same time to bring into the clan. Worked as a Left Hand when that position existed, primarily attempting to steal or retrieve sold weapons so that clients would have to purchase again. Konnar was handsome and super fun)

28) Kieandatu - Stored (Jihaen Templar. This is who Konnar was stored, for. Modeled him after Mace Windu, believed he could see 'fractures' that would lead him to the right decisions, was usually just because he was on a sugar-high from all the juice he'd drink. Constantly was the "beat cop", sitting in Firestorm reading a book, feet up on a keg of juice with his purple cup. Had a bunch of ideas, but at the time I didn't REALLY understand the role, and my clan staff had differing playtimes (and also a bunch left soon after bringing me in, so I don't think I was the NEW clan staff's favored subject)

29) Taymullah - Dead (Human assassin, killed by a 'rinthi dwarf NPC)

30) Yamalo - Dead (Human Assassin, 14days played, would CONSTANTLY try to hire out vNPC whores from the alleys, actually got a couple people interested.)

31) Zin - Stored (Half-giant warrior, only made it to a day played. Was very busy at the time, loved the PC but just couldn't keep my mind in it)

32) Antholin - Dead (Human Pickpocket, worked with Salarr. Plan was to be a "Games Master" by doing things like ball-under-the-cup and sleight of hand. Sometimes it worked, usually PCs would just watch me and catch the hemotes.)

33) Caarsor - Dead (Human warrior, Byn Sergeant of 18days played. Got super mad at Nyr, a fellow Sergeant, and what I felt was a lack of support, and headed all the way up to Tuluk to get kryl'd)

34) Solusek - Dead (Human Rukkian, boy am I stupid. [doing magick stuff] in sight of walls and forts, thinking I was hot shit because I was buff. Died to an anakore)

35) Shardanor - Dead (Human Ranger, tried doing it again! Killed by a siltflyer, after wandering into a huge spider nest like a moron. Was playing with a RL friend, twinking super hard, and it didn't matter to the spiders.)

36) Casarin - Dead (Human Assassin, Sarin. Was in the Byn, managed to smooth-talk my way into my Tuluki Sergeant letting me go into the grasslands when nobody was around for training. Made it quite a long time after that, until Sergeant Rythe and a few others decided to check out a certain spooky cave, and got scared out of it. Got PK'd soon after, I think)

37) Cadaran - Dead (human warrior, 2 hours in)

38) Ahotep - Stored (Human Pickpocket, 9days played. A GREAT pickpocket, Tep I think was the one who would be a go-fer boy and 'plant' the items on people. Until the time he planted spice on a Jihaen Templar to appear helpful and got got. Lost a LOT of coin and respect for failure. I honestly don't remember why I stored him.)

39) Edge - Dead (Human warrior, got 'rinth'd)

40) Gavin - Stored (Human warrior, 55days played. Went through Byn, Salarr, House Dasari. Originally just wanted to have high subdue, and knife-fighting, and be a gladiator. Being a competent warrior so he could just the Tuluki Arena as a gladiator was always his lofty goal. Hired out of the Byn by Salarr, he saw it as a way to "return home" but took YEARS to get on the rotation back. Then left and joined Dasari, because with no options to be a gladiator, he thought he might like to open a bake-shop with a 'secret' backroom for independent gladiator training. Never accomplished that, but DID get knives and knife-weapons made for him. Because he twinked hard on a code exploit and got caught, and I decided to store)

41) Maoten - Stored (human pick-pocket, worked for House Kassigarh but not on PURPOSE. Kind of got conscripted by the PC noble. Spammed peek a LOT on people, got caught stealing from a masterbard (not codedly, staff were just watching and decided I got caught. Unfair, yes, but holy shit I needed to be reined in)).

42) Aerin - Stored (Human Merchant, 16days played. Part of the Circus, responsible for the mastercrafted tent-design cloaks, was the master juggler, and REALLY wanted to craft folding tables and pavilion-like tents for the circus to travel with. Got a bit discouraged by the turn-around time on mastercrafts, had a hard time enjoying the role and stored)

43) Tibbs - Dead (Too recent, but Mr Tibbs wasn't the name he went by)

44) ??? - Dead (Too recent, but only 6 hours in. Did NOT enjoy the role)

45) ??? - Alive (Current PC. Over 40days played, no NEGATIVE notes yet, so either I'm doing something right, or haven't been caught yet. Enjoying the RP, I can play from work so I get a lot of time in, and the goals I've set are both mildly unattainable OOCly, but PERFECTLY IC to chase for years to come)
