3 Room Bows?

I took a year+ hiatus so I'm wondering if bows, at some point in the past, were all standardized to 2 rooms? I don't recall slingshots shooting 2 rooms, and I've seen some IG bows that I could have sworn shot 3 rooms but now shoot 2.

There was a purge (I think) a few years ago after increasing restrictions on the 3-roomers.

Jave did towards the beginning of 2016.  There's a post somewhere on it.
