Random branching?

Ive gotten a number of new skills. But im fairly
Certain that ive not improved -any- of the skills I believe they branch from
Significantly. So im just wondering what is going on with that.

Branching does not always happen when Skill X hits Advanced or Master. Some branches occur at "high journeyman" or "low advanced."

Don't sweat it and enjoy the new skills!

Merchants and witches branch kind of funny from what I've seen. I'm not even sure a merchant can branch on purpose.

Aha.... I thought  this was how it worked. The advanced master thing.
