Battle Music!
« on: October 18, 2015, 02:10:15 AM »
This is a thread about posting awesome music for sweet adventuring or battle.

Specifically this.

Great for any big battle.

A lone standoff duel.

Any anthem is incredible for battle, but I find the USSR has an excellent theme for obliterating foes.

When someone is about to have a bad time.

Byn Shenanigans.

Edit:
Excellent if you're about to face impossible odds.

Might have been this very forum where I heard this the first time.  I've used it for various hero-needed situations since then in my gaming experience.

janeshephard: You really think BadSkeelz understands the concept of Wine In Front of me? This guy shot me as a townie when he felt threatened. The man's a neandrathal.

Miradus: He's not some weird mental abomination. He's just a guy on the internet.

Now you're looking for the secret. But you won’t find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.

I listen to a ton of epic music for writing, if anyone would like a more extensive list, let me know!

I love me some good epic music.  These are all tracks that, at some time or another, I've put on repeat for inspiration.

Also look up "Two Steps From Hell".  They pretty much specialize in epic movie trailer music.

Nah man, forget Fairy Tail. You want epic music from an anime you listen to this:

That one over Swordland?  Still good tracks, though.

Anyway, my preference:

I can't usually listen to music while I play Arm because I find it too distracting, but here are some things that would probably make good "battle music."

(So much of the Bloodborne boss fight music would be perfect for an Arm battle scene. I LOVE that soundtrack. There has not been one boss fight I have seen so far that hasn't blown me away with the music.)

Child, child, if you come to this doomed house, what is to save you?

A voice whispers, "Read the tales upon the walls."

I enjoy it more over Swordland. The snare rhythm is awesome.

Despite my darkest intentions to troll this thread.

I'd post more souls games music but then I'd have to post them all.
Also pretty much the entire attack on titan and kill la kill official soundtracks.
