A question about viewing armor

Some armor, when you view it from a shopkeep, will give a message about its weight:
You test its weight and decide that you could use it.

Other armor will give no such message.  Is there a difference?
The neat, clean-shaven man sends you a telepathic message:
     "I tried hairy...Im sorry"

I should clarify that the piece in question is a piece of "body" armor, not a shield or something you would wield.

I -think- that has something to do with whether or not it is too heavy for you to "hold" or "es" the item.

Grebber - One who grebs.

Most armor is useful to most races, and the weight echo when viewing each piece in the shops will reflect that. The weight test tag will be unmistakable when you run across a piece that your PC can't use.

Everything should be a weapon, and everything should be a throwable.
