Did I say Saturday? I meant Sunday. Sorry! Edited post above to reflect.
And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Whoops.  I'm out of town Sunday.  I probably can't make it.

Sundays are my tabletop group, so it's a no-go for me.

I could do Saturday at 11 EST for a couple of hours.  I'll have to leave around 1:30 EST to hang out with my sister.

The short story I'd like to get feedback on is about 5k words, swashbuckling fantasy.  It's something I've received a couple of rejections on and would really like a critical read of.  If that's too long, let me know.

5k is a bit long for the sesh. Can you find a place to stop halfway thru?

... turns out it was actually a different story I was working on that was about 5k words.  The swashbuckling one is about 2100.  ::)  So never mind.

Can someone post the TS info?  I have TS and I visited the Arm room once or twice, but it was many moons ago.

The address is

I'll double check that when I get home and update if needed.

Hate that I couldn't make it, my kids decided our new plan for the day (of course).  I'll be working next weekend, but I will get around to one of these!

Was helping clean up tornado wreckage all day. :(

Well, we're going to do it again next week an hour earlier.  Hopefully there will be less tornado wreckage to clean up then  :-\

I could probably make it to the next meeting. But I'm no friend of teamspeak, at all, so if I talk, it will be really short. Might not understand a bunch of what is being said, either. Wouldn't mind writing into chat, give me a chat window and I'll make it explode with letters and words. :p

Where / how are everyone's writing samples shared in advance?

We used Dropbox last time.

Dropbox is a syncing service that syncs your files between devices.

Sounds like a plan, but... then I'd have to show up early so people actually have time to read my chapter?

It's not finished yet, but will probably be 3K words or so.

Edit to add: Or I could share my chapter in advance with someone who is attending for sure, asking them nicely to distribute it for me?

Keep what you're sharing below 3k words please. Show up a second time to share the rest.

Unnngh.

Anyone interested in an evening version of this? Days are almost always off limits for me.
