I'd like to play Planetside 2 but I'm not very good at FPS games.

I got into the beta but was too coward to go to the frontlines!  ;D

Well that's the thing, you can play this game and not even have to shoot at someone.  Want to be a medic and heal people and bring people around you back to life?  You can do it.  Drive a Trooper Transport called a Sunderer around where you can spec it out to allow it to be a mobile spawning point that people can refit at.  Every time someone spawns at the Sunderer you get XP.  Every time you heal someone or revive them, you get XP.  You don't have to shoot a single bullet in this game to do something.

I couldn't ever figure out where the front line -was-, until someone shot me out of nowhere.

It's rather easy... it's color coded... and they have these lovely things called hot spots that make instant action easy.  Also you can over you cursor over sectors on the map and it will give you some more details.

Or you might get me.

You have nearly just sold this game to me. I may download it when I'm around again next week.

I have Lord cooper on my friendslist. He's worse than I am.
Now you're looking for the secret. But you won’t find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be fooled.

Knights of the Old Republic 2 for two fitty.

Even if I never play it, I still need it in my collection.

The people scattered gold-dust before my horse’s feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back.”

Unfinished but much better story than the first one.

Started playing Planetside 2, and have Mechwarrior Online downloaded. I'm not impressed with how bad the PS2 client runs on my machine :(

THis is proof that Steam is a mindbender.

It begins. I've made my first Autumn sale purchases.

Dead Island GOTY edition, To the Moon, and Witcher 2, to start with. There are some other things I'm looking at, but I'm waiting to see if they end up as flash sales/daily deals.

What did you get?

Mark of the Ninja (turned out to be way better than I expected), The Walking Dead and Witcher 2 so far, but I'd only just bought Don't Starve (a pretty fun survival/nightmare sim with excellent artwork), Chivalry, and Waking Mars (a brilliant Metroid-style farming/exploration game).

To the Moon

Finally!

I'm not even an hour in and this game is already depressing.

I'd buy dead island if other Armers are willing to multiplay. Anyone up for a team romp on occasion? Just don't play public - modders and hackers have trashed any semblance of the game's fun.

The Walking Dead is absolutely brilliant. Murder, death, corruption - Armageddon with zombies, in a way.  8)

I want to play it again but I'm not sure what choices I would make different.

Just finished episode 2 and I gotta say it's an extremely well made game so far.  It's quite interesting how much Clementine's presence is affecting the choices I make, not sure if I've come across a game that gives you such a strong moral anchor before.  Things seem a little predictable so far though (episode 2 spoiler like, it was blinding obvious that those guys were cannibals way too early on), maybe I've just spent too much time on tvtropes.

Episode 2 isn't far enough. Things get interesting ep3 onwards :D

Episode 3 got me all teary-eyed. And shocked. I'll be sad when this game ends! I'll play ep 4 today.

I would - but there are so many better options now. For example, Borderlands 2!

I'll play it again just to save the other person in episode 2. Choosing who you save seems to have a large impact on the story from there onwards.
