Your going to get popped
i've been playing for many years now and people still pop my ships in 30 secs

Ok, give me some advice. I have a rifter (since my slasher got popped). Is it any good or should I scrape for something better? I also just spent shitload of cash for missile skillbooks, It'll take me two days to train them up...

Can I smuggle without the cloaking skill?

I will put it this way as far as pvp goes right now if you are still in trail or just pass the trial. your screwed no matter what you fly unless you attack someone with the same amount of time as you. I fly minmatar but mostly an indy pilot. Love using my hulk.

Rifters are fantastic ships, arguably the best tier one frigate in the game. They're excellent for PvP due to their solid performance and low cost. Never fly what you can't afford to lose.

One thing to consider though: Most minmatar ships rely on autocannons and artillery. Missiles are the Caldari forte, so if you're going to be flying minmatar, it would be wiser to look into gunnery skills.
All the world will be your enemy. When they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

Looking at Free To Play options on Steam.... anyone here playing a f2p game which isn't "pay to win."
And there was some dwarf smoking spice, and I thought that was so scandalous because I'd only been playing in 'nak.

They still make games like that? I thought Guild Wars was the only one.

They make shitty games (usually) or games like Star Trek Online end up free to play.

GW1 you had to buy. You can just download and fire up Star Trek Online.

Steam has a list of f2p titles. None of them really caught my eye though.

Spend the $5 for Bastion. :)
And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Thoughts on the Game of Thrones RPG after playing it a little bit:

- Story is pretty solid. It fits well within the universe, and the only downside is that you know your main characters have plot armor.
- Combat is okay. It's brutal and fun to watch but from what I understand, you eventually get to the point where you just spam your three strongest abilities over and over. I haven't encountered this yet, but I imagine I will.
- Graphics are meh. About what I'd expect from an underbudget game by a low-tier developer. If you get the PC version instead of the console version, it even looks good at some points, but never great. Console version suffers from texture problems.
- They started working on this before the TV series, which means, for whatever reason, only some of the characters are modeled on their TV counterparts. It's kind of obnoxious at times. Also, something is up with the way they animated Jeor Mormont's beard.

I definitely plan on buying the game to finish it, and I think fans of the universe will enjoy it, but I advise waiting for the inevitable steam sale and avoiding the console version altogether.

You're playing a "demo?"

Walking Dead will give you your zombie fix. Season Pass is only $20, and each episode is $5. Next episode comes out in June.

Yeah. Pretty sure I'm just going to return this game and get Dead Space 2 or something. Boring on solo and majority of players on Multiplayer have figured out ways to glitch/Overpower their weapons to the point of doing one-shot kills. I mean, some kid literally glitch-copied a pistol that does over 500k lightning damage per shot and gave it to me.

Dug out my Sega Genesis from storage, got my copy of Shadowrun and started playing it again :)

Other than the low res on an hd tv, I'm having a blast.

Rent-a-server update ruined battlefield 3 on the Xbox.

Ah, that makes sense. I hadn't known it was intended as a homage to Walking Dead.

Picked up Deus Ex.

Heard some good things about it. Figured I'd give it a try.
