Did you get Fable 3? Any good?

"I Am Alive" is up for only $5. Going to grab it.
And there was some dwarf smoking spice, and I thought that was so scandalous because I'd only been playing in 'nak.

Yeah, snapped it up at the last moment.  Doubt I'll have chance to play it before Sunday though.

Masters of Orion II looks good! I've played some of the "newer" 4X space strategy games (sword of the stars etc) and this one, though not the prettiest, looks really functional. Plus, it has TURN based tactical combat (yay!)

now how do I get it? hmm..

BTW, here's my chance to thank somebody in here for recommending dungeon crawl stone soup or whatever. It's a great time waster, the autoexplore feature takes a lot of the work out of my nethacking ;)

Despite all the negative reviews, I'm enjoying Lucius. If you don't mind playing as a six year old killer fathered by Satan, give it a try.

For another hour and a half, Steam has "The Sims 3" for $10.  $10.19 actually.

Pretty darn cheap for the EA flagship

It is EA after all.

Is that with or without the 1001 expansions? They probably want you to spend 200 bucks on those.  :D

Just the base game, ofc.

All the expansions/stuff-packs/etc were 50-66% off too.  Sale is over now though :-(

Not -cheap- by any means, but Sims crap never seems to go on sale.  It's the best deal on the base game I've seen in so I picked it up along with a couple expansions \o/

It's a pretty great platformer, and at 98% off this is probably the time to grab it.

I finally got my b.net account fixed and logged into WoW for the first time in years to check out my old paladin.

I saw they had a new ability called Burden of Guilt that slows enemies down. I remembered a thread I made a few years ago and now I'm pretending I had something to do with it, however unrealistic that may be.
All the world will be your enemy. When they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

Chivalry Medieval Warfare is on sale for only $12 on steam right now.

EDIT: Best $12 bucks spent. The game is insanely good. Lots of screaming from the medieval soldiers as they run around hacking at each other. Need to figure out how to rebind keys since in the game menu seems broken. Otherwise, I highly recommend this game.

I'm trying to find a decent FTP game. Everquest is a no go on my PC for some reason. I'll let ya guys know.
And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Free to Play.

Might always try Armageddo- Ohwait.

Uhm... Blacklight: Retribution is a pretty fun FTP FPS, though, when I say FTP, I mean Microtransactions, but you don't actually -have- to do that. You can get credit in game. It just takes foreverlong.

Apparently you can commit suicide in CK2 if your character gets the depressed trait.  This causes your successor to gain the stressed trait :o

What is your preferred genre?  I could probably suggest a few if you'd like.

Thinking about starting up on Everquest again. I started playing that shortly after getting into Ultima Online, it was the first MMORPG that really got its hooks into me.

I tried Dragon Nest, some Nexon game... it's "okay". I'd probably prefer a top-down 2D game.

When I looked at EQ, I kind of got an old urge to play DAoC again. So, I'm going to re-activate one of my old accounts and play a little bit. Should be fun. We'll see.
