Gah. Fuck this game. So hard.

This is the first time I've come across someone who didn't like the game.

Didn't say I don't like it. Just some parts of fucking frustrating.

If by weird tribal men you mean Christians then yes.

StarForge has a playable (and free) release out.  It's being described as Warcraft 3 meets Minecraft meets Halo and y'all owe it to yourselves to have a gander.  The best features are show later on in the video for some bizarre reason.

That looks pretty sick. But still pretty rough around the edges. Wonder if my machine can even run something like that.

True, but it's still a pre-alpha so a little roughness is to be expected :)

In other news, keeps looking better and better.

Hrm. I was told there would be free-running/parkour/climbing of some sort in the game.

doesn't look like it.

There is, but trailers have an unfortunate tendency to focus on shooting and explosiony stuff.  Gotta market to the xbox kiddies, right?

Well then it looks amazing. Not a fan of the bioshocky art-style, but the graphics still look amazing. Pretty much the only gripe I can think of.

The art and world is actually designed by one of the Half-life 2 artists. I thought that was pretty evident with the quadruped walkers and whatnot. Very Combine-esque.
All the world will be your enemy. When they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP

and do you also want Bastion as a bonus to it all?

Can't speak for Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP but literally ALL the others are fantastic.  Is it worth grabbing it for Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP?

Sure! If you already have Bastion, you can pay whatever you want for just Sword & Sorcery.. (I know it's a lot of fun on the ipad, never really played it on anything else though..)

You only need to pay above the average donation if you want Bastion with it.

I own Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery and it's alright. A little short, and very much a point and click adventure with cool music.
And there was some dwarf smoking spice, and I thought that was so scandalous because I'd only been playing in 'nak.

Does anyone play any dungeon crawl games?  I need advice on how to go past level 5 (on PC) on the Stone Soup's graphical one?  Right now, I only had one go to level 7 but died right when he leveled.

Yes, I have seen this topic (http://www.zalanthas.org/gdb/index.php/topic,42159.0.html) but it's not helpful.

Bastion is worth the money.

The storytelling is pretty epic in that game. I really enjoy the narration. The music is outstanding. The artwork/presentation is awesome. And it's a simple yet fun action RPG. :)

And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Each one of those games is easily worth the asking price on it's own.

I completely wrote off the games after the second one but look at the gameplay trailer at the bottom of that page. Holy crap it gets intense.

And I'm so glad it's not taking place in a city anymore.

EDIT:

And another upcoming Ubisoft game:

Wow, if this isn't all scripted BS, then this has to be the best demo footage of a game ever..

The NPC behaviour in Watch Dogs is phenomenal if it isn't scripted.  Gonna wait to see an LP or something before buying it though.
