So I bought it anyways, and it's OK.  The one thing that's irritating is how fast you originally run outta gas, but after you upgrade the gas tank once, it's not so bad.  Though I will say these have to be the worst gas consuming motorcycles ever.

Also it's slightly annoying how the Freakers (aka zombies) attack you and run right past bandits.

I tried to lure some bandits into a swarm and the freakers ignored them and ran straight at me.  Sorta bullshit.

But not a bad game at all.

Days Gone doesn't seem like a bad game. It just doesn't feel particularly unique. From what few reviews I've watched, it looks like a cross between The Last of Us and State of Decay which would, at any time, usually sound extremely fun. Maybe I'm personally just not really vibing with zombie games, anymore, but I felt more excitement for Resident Evil 2 than I did for Days Gone.

So after playing Day's Gone for a while and making it to the second (Final?) region.  I would say the story is so so, not the worst I've ever seen in a video game.  But definitely not the greatest.

So is it worth getting, sure, but I probably would wait until they lower the price a little, not that it would be a waste of money or anything, but most people will probably feel slightly cheated as it doesn't really do anything new except for change zombies into infected, which I think that other zombie game already did.

What I am gonna buy today after work, is probably Rage 2, looks like a fun bulletporn game, and seems to reward you for just rushing in and not playing all soft and easy.

I like games like that sometimes.

The only issue is I don't know whether to buy for PS4 or PC.

I'm pessimistic about the upcoming Vampire the Masquerade game due to the sparse history of the developer. But my inner goth retains hope.

I too want it to be good, but the last few in this series have been shit.

But who knows, they might be decent this time.

A friend of mine talked me into getting Monster Hunter World, since it's only for $20.

Ugh. Summer vacation just started and now I am gonna get hooked on one of the grindiest games (or so I've heard).

If you colonize too many planets, it will hurt your research a lot and you'll fall behind. Best to only colonize a select, limited number of GOOD planets (with a high population cap).

I got steamrolled a lot until I realized this.

Now I gotta play stellaris again.

I am worried.

That bit at the very end..."Gather your party."

Does not bode well.

Why? I assume it will be the same co-op system that is in Divinity 2.

Divinity games were great, but I didn't like the coop part of it at all.  But then again I prefer complete control of my RPGs.

That and wasting resources on multiplay is usually noticeable.

Or it might be a mmorpg...all of which blow.

If it is single player only...I will surely get it...as like many of you, the number of hours I sank into balders gate and icewind dale is rather silly...Oh, and torment. If it has multiplay options, I will not bother. the single play always suffers.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward is free for a limited time

For those of you who play or used to play, it's applicable to all - Even if your account isn't currently active.

Just up to Heavensward or is Stormblood and the new expansion included too? (I've completed all of Stormblood).

Just Heavensward. The base game isn't included and the new expansion definitely isn't included either.

I preordered Shadowbringer (the new expansion) and Heavensward and Stormblood are both included, but Stormblood (the one I don't have it) content doesn't get unlocked until Shadowbringer actually launches. A bit silly if you ask me. Why include all the older expansions but not let people access them right away?

Stormblood isn't that interesting a story anyway imo. The Omega AlphaScape raids are super amusing (best in the set) but the story is meh compared to Heavensward. Boss fight music is pretty good though, second only to King Moogle Mog (obviously).
