When I went to lunch I got a call. We did a phone interview. I have an in person interview on Monday.

Kick some ass.
I'm sure going to try!
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

HUZZAH!  I appear to have fixed my 3D card.  A little Arctic Silver 5 did the trick.

My desktop is working!  (After over a month of work and being pissed off at it)

The pretty girl from the "date thread" came to visit me at work today. Totally made going in for a 10 hour shift worth it. It's unusual for me, but I'm getting all mushy. RL >>> Arm. Sorry, yo.

it with murder, betrayal, and corruption, instead of arguing about how combat isn't powerful enough.

Today at work the slimiest salesman and the slimiest manager got into a shouting match and now they're both mad at each other.

the french don't smile without a reason, and always touch when greeting someone, like a handshake, or elbows if your arms are full. i mean, if she's from actual France. so don't get upset if she smiles once every two hours or something.

All the world will be your enemy. When they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

"...you see a dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings, thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilizations, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every hopeful child, every mother and father, every inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam. This quote immediately reminded me of the Monty Python, meaning of life, Galaxy Song.

And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, cos there's bugger all down here on Earth!"
