I dunno. I saw it on tumblr.

I saw this on tumblr, too:

Whoah, that's not cool.  It wouldn't be so bad if she just skinned her knee or something... but that could possibly be some serious head trauma there.  Good reason mr. cool-guy should chill the heck out and just scold the girl for shoplifting(?) instead of possibly causing permanent injury or death over a pack of whatever.

Ugh. Shit like that makes me really fucking pissed.

A cop who goes balls to the wall to take down some 15 year old shoplifter like she's some convicted criminal is just pathetic and disgusting.

The motherfucker deserves to get sued and dishonorably discharged from the force.

If he was tackling her, you'd think he wouldn't have rammed her chest-first.

One thing that does not make me happy is holding improperly-trained and under-authorized individuals to unrealistically high standards and then damning them for their mistakes.
Any questions, comments, or condemnations to an eternity of fiery torment?

Would explain why he's (hopefully) some mall cop.

Regardless, that dude went way overboard. She wasn't running. She wasn't fighting back. She was walking. Briskly. He went full on-bash on that chick.

Unrealistically high standards? If having a bit of common sense is considered "Unrealistically high standards", you must already have a pretty poor opinion of the police force.

In and out of the emergency room in under 30 minutes.

Vicodin prescription for the screaming pain.

Finding random strangers who like to talk about serial killers and have some time in psych class to back it.

So much fun. Other than the tooth pain. But that will be better once the pharmacy opens.

The doctor I had was the nicest guy ever.

A lot of cops fucking suck. My front two teeth are "bonded" work because, while defending myself in jail after being arrested for possession, a fucking cop slammed my face against a steel bench.

We couldn't sue his ass because it doesn't look good suing the city you're trying to bargain with, but they did fire him.  Fucking assholes.

Um um so okay they have my Firefly posters at SDCC and Joss Whedon liked them so much he literally took them from the booth and then ordered another set for his office.  AND apparently he was so excited about it he was shaking and going "Omg I am geeking out so hard right now these are awesome." And then he told them he wanted me to do them for Doctor Horrible, too.  And then the CEO said he'd call me next week to discuss like putting me on retainer and shit.

I actually got up early and accomplished stuff today!  Took my weird cats to the vet and got them squared away, set up a hair appointment for the first time in a year and bought some new clothes.  Yessss. :D  Today is a good day!

@Yam:  haha I know dude.  I spent the whole day with a stupid ass grin on my face.  It was awesome.

Tonight is an antisocial night.  Tonight is a manicure night.  If there is time, it's also a pedicure night.  It's an ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie night.  It's a watch netflix and worry about nothing night.

The English department chair of the community college I've tutored at for three and a half years e-mailed me this morning asking if I could reschedule my work in the writing center to work around teaching two of the remedial English courses they offer... WELL FUCK YES I COULD RESCHEDULE, SIR.

So excited  ;D
