I've had Maeve and she is amazing. In fact, I think she was one of the first admins I worked with on a character. Actually, now that I went and searched for her in gmail, she was the first to really help me out with what I wanted to pursue in game on a character and gave this noobie much love in regards to how to go about that. She is AWESOME sauce.

Those made me happy today.

Lately I've been feeling kind of crummy at work becauseI get a lot of days off and I feel like I hardly work compared to everyone else on my watchfloor.  I'm pretty competetive, so I start feeling self-conscious when I think I'm not working as hard as other people.  Usually I work 1 day on and 3, sometimes 4 days off.  Worst case is 1 day on 2 off.

As it turns out, I've been averaging about 192 hours a month, which is still 48 hours per week.  Realizing that I only work 2 days a week and still clock more than almost everyone here has got me feeling good.  I guess the only sad part is that I don't get paid any extra for it.

Losing at chess.  Unexpected, and, well, awesome.

My new levis don't really fit (guess the button fly gave it a smaller fit?).  The top button doesn't really want to button.

But, they're super-skinny slacks, and were $10.  They look normal with a belt.

Score.

Of course, I had the window and he had the aisle, which meant that the only distraction other than the cologne (so good!) was the intermittent flash of light to the right of my magazine as it reflected off his wedding ring.  :P

Nice making a full day's pay in four hours and cutting out of work before noon.
Had all my parts waiting for some light suspension work/brakes on an F250. Water Pump on a Tahoe
and corrected an alignment/tire pull on a Malibu.

All done.

Interview tomorrow. Only $6 an hour more than I make now. But benefits. If it's not a good fit I'll pass.
