Architecture excites you does it?

I appreciate pretty things.  Pretty people, pretty landscapes, pretty flowers, pretty art, pretty buildings and so forth.  Some of the prettiest buildings IMO are churches/temples/mosques etc.

Got to see the end of a murder trial.  Wow, those were some awesome closing arguments.  I learned a lot.

Was it like the courtroom dramas on tv?

Not really.  The closing arguments were about an hour a piece.  It's hard to condense a two week trial into a reasonable summary.

Just had a greasy fastfood burger for the first time in months. The feeling of my arteries clogging was glorious.

Huh. My first time eating a fastfood burger, after months without, actually made me feel a little sick.

I was out of the country for a month once, where they don't serve cheeseburgers.  It was the very first thing I ate on American soil.  YUM.

Same, TBH. After months of homecooked meals, saving 20 minutes for Hardee's was really not the best idea.

I don't get sick from eating bad food if I haven't had any for awhile but I do if I've been exercising recently.

I like the working out 15-20 hours a week means that I can eat whatever the hell I want. :)

However, I still eat healthy.

edit: Damn, I originally posted 20-30 hours a week. Damn, I'm nuts. I don't work out that much. Unless I'm at a course.

I haven't been working out very much at all because, well -- yeah. (God, do I get out of breath easy, and I don't even have extra baby weight yet, really, except for ~5 lbs.) But, I don't think I've ever eaten this healthy or felt, generally, this good. Ever. Rawr.

http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/19/sharp-shows-off-the-worlds-first-super-hi-vision-lcd-with-16x-m/

Quote
While Japan's NHK has been working on the successor to HDTV, Super Hi-Vision, for years, there haven't been any direct-view HDTVs capable of showing its full 7,680 x 4,320 pixel resolution until this prototype unveiled today by Sharp. Its 103 pixels per inch may be just a fraction of those found in some of the pocket displays we've seen at SID this week, but that's still far more than the 36ppi of a 60-inch 1080p HDTV. If estimates are correct, we'll still be waiting until around 2020 for that 33MP video and 22.2 channel sound to actually be broadcast, although there's a possibility of some demonstrations happening during the 2012 Olympics. Skip past the break for the available specs and a video demonstration, or just head over to the NHK's Science & Technology Research Laboratories in Tokyo between the 26th and 29th of this month.

Holy shiitake, that sounds awesome.  Musashi, it is your duty as the sole inhabitor of Japan (that I know of anyway) to check this out and report back to us.

Super fuckin' Hi-vision?

Jesus, dude. When are they just going to skip to plugging us right into the damn machines, themselves? With definition -that- defined, I highly doubt the human eye will even be able to appreciate all of that "7,860x4,320 pixel resolution".

I think the resolution of the average eye is 600-720 dpi...so 36ppi isn't even close, if your face is only inches from the screen.
