I'm excited about Arm. This game is pretty awesome.

Why would they only give out fifteen packets of Rick and Morty sauce? That stuff should be as limitless as the stars and free. You know when God told Abraham, Your descendants will be as numerous as the stars? Well, that's how much sauce there should be, because this is America where sauce is limitless and free at every restaurant we go to.
Look, a petting tregil.  So silky...Feel him.

Supply and demand. If they flooded the market with limitless Szechuan sauce, it would kill the joke, and nobody would care. Instead, they released them in such limited quantity, the price of a packet of sauce is in the hundreds. Also, people damn-near rioted over this shit.

I just saved a pitbull by stopping traffic and leading it to the side of the road, distracting it long enough for its owner to arrive. I feel euphoric.

EDIT: A woman rolled down her window and yelled at clueless dude, "You owe that guy a HUGE thank you!"

Dang, I'm not having anything as heroic as Grapes...but... I got a new pen via Jetpens today! Ugh, I don't buy myself a bunch of fancy pens and paper often (read that to mean once every six months or so) but it just looks so nice and it wasn't too much coins...now I just need the perfect ink for it.

I think this might be the right ink, something light and soft...

A good pen is severely underrated, Stark. It's been a while since I bothered to look for a favorite pen, and I usually had to settle for caligraphy pens, which, tear paper and bleed all over the place, but put down a sufficient amount of just the right shade of black ink.

See Grapes? That's how I feel. I keep a nice rollerball on hand, usually a nice Uniball pen, but I really love fountain pens, messes and all. I have a hard time justifying buying one because I literally have several of them, but sometimes having a new pen to mess with (or a new ink colour) just makes me happy. Becoming disabled required new hobbies, and sending out random postcards with Postcrossing.com became one of mine, so I probably use pens more than most folks, because: luddite tendencies.

Uniball, in my experience, usually has good, pitch-dark ink. I don't think my favorite pen from them is still available, however. I used to draw, and used to depend on them for my artwork, then one day I couldn't find my favorite pens anymore... imagine my displeasure. I tried a lot of quick fixes but in the end, it never worked.

We got a house!

To elaborate, we have been living in a caravan park for the last few months and we havent been able to get a house at all, and we have been given a transitional house, until the goverment is able to secure a more permanent one.

We havent been able to get one ourself, because apparently no one wants to rent to someone with a physical disability like my partner, which is bullshit if you ask me.

So! I expect my next week or so shall be -super- busy.

* Medicaid Expansion in Maine
* The Governorship in New Jersey
* The Governorship, Lt. Governorship, and Attorney General seat in Virginia
* 15 NEW pickups so far in the Virginia House of Delegates (waiting on 2 more to take control -- but will have to wait a few days likely due to how close it is)
* TWO Democratic pickups in the Georgia State Senate ENDING the Republican Super Majority there
* A win in Washington State's State Senate, therefore taking CONTROL of the Senate
* Wins for the Mayorship of St. Petersberg FL, New York City, Hoboken (First Sikh Mayor in New Jersey), Charlotte NC (First African-American Woman)
* A Transgender Woman Democrat in Virginia who defeated the very powerful Republican incumbent who wrote the anti-Transgender bathroom bill (She is now the first in the state of Virginia)
* A Democratic candidate for VA Delegate who's girlfriend was shot dead on TV defeated the NRA's Republican incumbent
* An open Democratic Socialist defeated the VA GOP majority whip with no corporate money and no help from the Virginia Democratic Party

So, I'm reading a book entitled "Writing Fantasy Heroes: Powerful Advice from the Pros," when I come to the chapter "Watching from the Sidelines" and who should it say is the contributor?  None other than Cat Rambo.

All of the contributors to the book have provided example writings for the chapters they've contributed to and what did Cat contribute?  Excerpts from her short story "Eyes like Sky and Coal and Moonlight."  Here's a snippet:

"My ineffectual efforts at magic died out after a while and our lives continued. When I was twelve, there came rumors of magic outside the city. Travelers reported the undead walked the North Road at night, and no one dared journey beneath the moons. Day by day, the stories grew wilder. They said an ancient demon, the Lord of Ash, and his servants plagued Tuluk and that the Templarate could do nothing to stop him. Others went further and said that the reason the Templarate did nothing was that they had given their power to Lord Isar."

There's more goodies like this that go one to talk about Kul, the early Tan Muark and the destruction of Tuluk by Elementals.  I was grinning like a fool the whole time I was reading the chapter.

I found a kitten in the bushes at work today. My office manager wouldn't let me keep it in the office but luckily one of the volunteers knew someone who wanted a kitten and took it with her! It was a sweetie too. I wanted to take it home!
