What if..?

Spying and espionage-related-plots would become way cooler.

What if Allanak and Tuluk had distinct currencies?

What if Allanak and Tuluk had distinct currencies?

Currency exchanges would flourish all around the known world with differing local exchange rates.  People could travel around making money, solely trading currency.  Or Nenyuk would simply do this for a nominal fee depending on your location.

What if Tuluk and Allanak were destroyed?

The Sand Lord would take over and everyone else could go on with their lives as usual.

What if the Tek and Muk turned out to be a giant scam by the templarate and they were both long-dead?

Yeah that sounds about right.. but if people actualy found out about it? well it would still take the vast majority of the population to bring them down due to their personal kick-ass-ness, and heavily fortified quarters.

What if Githmas was actualy celebrated in game by all the known?  What would the traditions be I wonder?  Keep in mind that it only comes every eight and a half years.
The glowing Nessalin Nebula flickers eternally overhead.
This Angers The Shade of Nessalin.

The resulting gorefest would result in extinction. Of Gith or all the other races remains to be seen.

What if all dwarves everywhere spontaneously grew a few inches of hair in the same place?

Firefox wants to correct dwarves as 'wharves'. WTF.

They would go extinct when faced an army of with heavily-armored, opponents.
You slash the burly, blue-robed templar but the blow is absorbed by a pair of silt-horror gauntlets....and his skin.

What if all PCs could learn to read and write?

I would make a ranger/physician in the Byn, and make this a reality: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Black_Company

What if it was legal to read and write, and psionics were severely limited in distance?

Roll up Kevin Costner.

What if they closed the Arm of the Dragon and the Sun Legions?

Nobody would want to play a templar, cause they wouldn't have anyone (real) to boss around.

Everyone would be terrified of rangers. There would be demands to make them 8 karma.

What if tribal orcs came into the known world and allied with the gith?

They still wouldn't have enough dakka.

What if every high-profile PC that did awesome shit were suddenly rezzed?

I'd get banned for multi-playing.

What if it was fine to multi-play?

I'd pay and be $5 per month poorer.

What if all magicker PCs had a different guild (a mundane one) until they cast their first spell?
As of February 2017, I no longer play Armageddon.

That'd be fucking awesome.

If all magicker PC's could have a mundane guild until they cast their first spell, how would that work?

People would be on the lookout for regular old merchants, bynners, grebbers, etc. who didn't seem interested in skilling up their respective useful skills. Some mages would immediately disregard this part, and byn sarges would need to pay attention to any details that might become unique to unmanifested mages, along with the other shit they need to pay attention to. Roleplay itself would not be changed since this is an OOC concept, but 'gickers would finally be able to start in Tuluk and live there for a while or indefinitely without garnering suspicion. If you're including sorcerers, that's just scary.

Joan Jett is in Zalanthas?

Oh, I totally forgot to ask a question.  Uhh, what if tregils were aggro?

Trellis are aggro. Haven't you ever lost a mage to one?

What if all of those end-of-the-world Halaster plots hadn't been silently retconned out of existence?

I'd annoy Nyr far less with my constant scrambling to try to get other ones in their place.
