The Dark Knight.

it feels more like two movies than one, so I watch it in pieces, since I am human and don't wish my bodily functions to interrupt the movie. now beginning the part where Harvey starts going off the deep end.

True Grit (the new, Coen bros. version) and Black Swan were both excellent.

I watched the Swedish-made The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie. Now I can see why people are annoyed about Hollywood remaking it. It's great how it is, and Lisbeth Salander is perfectly cast.

Now I need to read the other two books, so I can watch the remaining movies, too.

Southlands is starting up again on Tuesday. I like it.

OH MY CHRIST IT'S GOT SEAN BEAN IN IT!

I'm assuming this is quality. I have a pet hate for cheesy pulp fantasy, which pretty much covers every made for TV fantasy series I've ever come across.

It's being made by the same people that did Rome, which was an excellent series.

HBO does good work and I doubt it'll be cheesy.
What I fear is they'll do a season and then go, eh, too expensive. Never mind. And they'll leave us hanging.

If they don't then Mr. Martin may want to get off his ass and finish.

Netflix Canada is really lame.. Anything from HBO.. NOT AVAILABLE.. Any newish movies like Avatar.. NOT AVAILABLE... At least they seem to know my style, they're telling me about some obscure japanese torture movies and documentaries about the Renaissance era.
“When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse’s feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back.”
