The brewing of liquids is now being implemented.

Liquid brewing does not require the brewing skill.  However, it does require specialized knowledge (recipes) and equipment.

Stills with which alcohol are made are highly expensive, and as such are not for general sale.  However, players in clans that have traditionally made alcoholic beverages may soon find they have actual coded stills to brew these beverages in.

This code has also been used to make teapots, which you can buy from potters in Allanak and Tuluk.  Teapots can currently be used to brew 5 varieties of herbal tea: spiceweed tea, blackstem tea, dwarfflower tea, greenmantle tea, and kanjel tea.

Each of these teas are helpful in sobering up if you've had too much booze to drink.

If you have a still or teapot, you can type 'help still' or 'help teapot' for syntax on how to use them.  Teapots and stills cannot be used while in your inventory; they must be set down in the room.

Q: Can you add multiple ingredients to the "still"?
A: No.  One liquid, and one object only.  However, there are recipes that may take multiple steps, like mashing a bunch of different fruits into a 'mash' before adding it to water to make wine.  Or, first you have to brew ale, and then add spice to it, to make spiced ale.
