Except maybe the balls part?
The secret to great RP is having the balls to be weird and the brains to make it eloquent.

A suggestion for Mansa edit -

TALK
 (blah blah blah)

To the small, blue-eyed boy, this will display to the screen:
The tall, muscular man says, at your table, in sirihish:
       "Hi."
The tall, muscular man says, at your table, in sirihish:
       "How's it going?"

To the people in the room, it will not display anything on the screen.

The underlined information is incorrect.  It WILL display that people at another table are talking.
"Last night a moth came to my bed
and filled my tired weary head
with horrid tales of you, I can't believe it's true.
But then the lampshade smiled at me -
It said believe, it said believe.
I want you to know it's nothing personal."

In fact, it doesn't, if they dont use an emote with the talk command. I'm fairly confident of that.

I'm fairly confident that someone in the room that wasn't sitting at the same table would see (even without an emote in it):

At a grey stone table, the tall, muscular man speaks.

Another suggestion:

You might use something other than 'boy' in your examples, since we're not allowed and it might be misleading for newbies. Same for singing about B-O-L-O-G-N-A..?

Do you have a suggestion for a quick song that would be popular for people to know?

And I'm not changing the sdesc.  That's my mansa sdesc from my mansa character from 10 years ago.

This is a walkthrough for people who have never played a MUD before.  I'd rather try and keep it relative to their own experiences, than throw out songs and poetry that they would never be able to associate with in real life.

Even "Happy Birthday" would be less blatantly OOC.

Oh also something I noticed. When you do speech examples, you type: say hi, You then say it echoes to the room as: The person says: "Hi"

It is maybe a better idea to capitalize all your example sentences, just to get new players into the mindset that the game does not automatically capitalize your sentences. And bad punctuation usually just makes me a little unhappy when I see it. Cool walkthrough, mansa.

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.

Unless I'm very confused, stats (and by stats, I mean strength, agility, endurance, wisdom) for a character are not relative to your race. E.G. a human with exceptional strength is on par with a dwarf with the same strength. Some rolls and maybe carry weight are affected by your character's height and weight, but that's another story..

What do you mean, aphex?

Perhaps I could be a bit more descriptive.  Also, this is what the immortals have stated, although not with these specific values that I am making up.

Imaging that the stat system in Armageddon is really based out of a maximum potential of all creatures of 0 - 100:
Humans would have a strength range from 8 - 18.
Elves would have a strength range from 6 - 14.
Half-Giants would have a strength range from 25 - 40.
Mekillots would have a strength range from 80 - 90.

Humans would have a wisdom range from 8 - 18.
Elves would have a wisdom range from 12 - 24.
Half-Giants would have a wisdom range from 4 - 8.

Since that a human with poor strength would be around 8, and one with average strength would be around 12, and one with good strength would be 15...
And a half-giant with poor strength would be around 25, and with average strength would be around 29, and with good strength it would be 33.

That means that a half-giant with poor strength is still "stronger" than a human with absolutely incredible strength.

If this is the case, and immortals have confirmed this (a similar system, not these exact point for point values) then I am incorrect.

There is also an extra "slung across back" location as well I believe ... for folks with bows or spears or big swords, but you can normally only get it to show up by "sheathing" something across the back, not wearing it there.
