Actually, I love having a prompt. I make mine something like this:

%h/%H %v/%V %t/%T      >

Where I have enough spaces to know exactly how long my short description is (when at full everything),  so when I type an emote, I know if it will go more than one line or not. Ok, it's really:

Code: [Select]

%h/%H %v/%V %t/%T      >emote
where this------------------>

is my sdesc length.

I tried using the #/# format in a prompt once, but it felt too cluttered for my tastes.

I always use this:

%h,%v,%t,%w>

The times I've played a magicker, it was:

%h,%v,%m,%t,%w>

Keeps all the vital numbers easy to find at a glance.

For me..

#alias setprompt
{prompt Health: %h/%H, Mana: %m/%M, Stun: %t/%T, Stamina: %v/%V, Speed: %w}

You get

The figure in a dark hooded cloak looks at you.

Health: 100/100, Mana: 20/20, Stun: 95/95, Stamina: 83/83, Speed:walking

At least that's how I like it
<Morgenes> Dunno if it's ever been advertised, but we use Runequest as a lot of our inspiration, and that will be continued in Arm 2
<H&H> I can't take that seriously.
<Morgenes> sorry HnH, can't take what seriously?
<H&H>Oh, I read Runescape. Nevermin
