Today's selections, looking spectacularly crappy because I scanned them with an old version of Paint Shop Pro.

A well-endowed elf woman.

And an ink sketch of one of Barzalene's PCs because I packed the other one I did (sorry, darlin').

I forgot all about the challenge thing and had to scribble this out really fast. I still gotta do something for today, too.

Bam.  I was bored.  Just did this in like 15 min.  Kinda looks the way I picture my old character Roni Shino - minus durrit. :)

Everyone, stop talking trash about your art.

You KNOW you rock. Admit it. Love it.

Draw more pretty things so people can gaze at them wistfully and wish they'd paid more attention during art class back in high school.

I agree.  In fact, I think those of us that can not draw a straight line without a geometry set and a laser level should start contributing our scribbles, just to punish them.  I bet it burns their eyes.

So I'm a bit late starting this.. but I made time to draw today.  I recently got myself a copy of Corel Painter and a tablet, and I'm trying to learn how to use both of them - normally I don't do much digital at all but I'm trying to try doing pictures from start to finish on the computer - inspired at least in part by Biscuit's work *bows*

So, it's really hard to draw your own face in those mirrors that come with your makeup.

Just doodlies on the 4th...

Worked on that some more while my boyfriend played DnD.

This started as my Daja contest entry, but I never finished it.  I worked on it anyway a little bit yesterday.  I also worked on a character portrait but I don't have it uploaded right now.

So I got my scanner yesterday. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. But I did manage to scan at least a few days' worth of stuff after fixing somebody's computer...

01 July: Milan, old First Hunter of House Kadius from some time back. I don't know why it came out blue.

02 July: Lanais, Armageddon character.

03 July: Doodled some faces.

04 July: Hitchhiking 80s woman. I got ultra lazy on most of it and the awesome pattern I DID bother detailing on her leggings didn't scan for crap.

05 July: A quick doodle of my haircut that I drew with a fountain pen while riding in a moving vehicle. I do not recommend. I spent most of the 5th working on a much more awesome picture that I can't post here just yet.

Ha.  These are so cool to see.

I did this over the space of an hour or two with a brown Prismacolor 05 fine line marker and colored pencils, watching TV.  Windblown characters are fun.  It made me realize how much I pay attention to feet in art (and how bad I am at them).  When I see a drawing I like, I'll look down at the feet to see if the artist has the figure's weight distribution rendered okay and if the anatomy of the feet is believable. Then I envy them relentlessly.

Love that one Ourla.  Could see it as a sketch in a book.  Plus brown is one of my favorites.

I know Malken is joking, but I wont lie, it sort of made me feel better about my lack of an artistic cell in my body to see that.

Sweet... that's my favorite of the ones I've seen you post.  I really like the details like the arrows and dagger and other stuff... and the shading is cool.   Something about the shaping and proportioning of things makes it interesting to look at too.

I'm really ridiculously close to quitting Arm and learning to draw again after following this thread for a couple days.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

That's a fantastic sketch.  Hell, I'd pay for a sketch just like that of my current character.

Ourla! That looks sooo good!  :D

Sooo yeah, on the 6th we had friends over so I just drew OHST while he was playing COD4.  And today, well, I don't really have an excuse, I just didn't draw a lot, haha.
