I find watching a cooking show and lusting after the food they make that I can't eat because of allergies synonymous with porn, and I love it.

Are you sure synonymous is the word you're looking for?
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Two things:

First, wrong thread.

Dumped twice in under a month. A new personal record!

Second, maybe you need to change something.

It's the "a random thought" thread.  I guess whatever people post here can be totally random!

Honey Bunches of Oats rocks so many different ways.  I also love the almond variety, but I'm a complete sucker for almonds.

If any of you like overpowering honey flavor, try Frosted Flakes Gold.  Really good, but I can see how it might be too sweet for some.

When I was a very young child my sisters made me believe that the rasins in Rasin Bran were bugs.

My grandmother didnt understand why all of a sudden I was screaming and crying not wanting to eat my cereal.

She made me eat it anyways as I cried because I had always loved rasin bran before, she thought I was just being a little shithead for no reason.

DO you know how much it scars an individual to eat an entire bowl of what they believe is bugs in their cereal? (In cultures where eating bugs would be horrific)

I was so young I couldnt form a comprehensive explanation of WHY I didnt want the cereal, so I was probably 2 or 3 years old. Just old enough to understand what bugs were I guess.

My sisters will burn in the biblical hell for doing that....

The irony is I still love Rasin Bran to this day.

My above thought made me have another random thought...

When I was a child I was raised out in the boonies by my grandparents....They had one of those old style metal bathtubs.

I was four or five years old (luckily I was still in the stages where you lose your baby teeth).

My two older sisters had me by the feet and hands doing that thing where they swing you back and forth between them...like they are going to throw you in a pool.

Well they were "pretending" like they were going to throw me into this metal tub and being a small child I was screaming and thrashing and trying to get away before they broke me like so many fragile toys.

Imagine the wonderful sensation of your face slamming into the side of a metal tub when the sister who has your hands loses her grip, but the sister holding your ankles in mid "swing" doesnt let go...Its similar to slamming a hammer down on a piece of sheet metal, but instead of a hammer head, it was my face.

My right front tooth actually turned solid black and fell out within a few days. Man I'm glad that was a baby tooth.

Again...my older sisters will burn in the biblical hell for that.

When I was little I used to get in trouble for eating all of the marshmallows out of a box of Lucky Charms and leaving the rest of the cereal.

This was also the age when I would get in trouble for eating nearly a whole bottle at a time of vitamin c chewable tabs because I thought they were candy. They tasted like oranges, I didn't know any better.

Another random thought...

Remember when you were a small child and your siblings picked on you relentlessly?

You always swore secretly that when you grew another three feet and put on 150 lbs, you would beat thier ass?

It sucks that by the time you reach the point where they are no longer five times your size, you no longer have the desire to get your revenge............Thats right, for years I swore I was going to give them a beat down for making me eat "Rasin Bugs".

My wife has to hide the vitamin C chewables from me....I'm 23 years old.

She had to do this just last week actually.

Code: [Select]
The cherubic, red-streaked lass says in southern accented English, snatching a half-empty bottle of vitamin 'C' chewables from the counter, "James! You cant sit here and eat a whole bottle of vitamin C in one day"

The bearded, brown-haired man exclaims in southern accented English, reaching for but missing his grab on the bottle in the cherubic, red-streaked lass's hand, "ITS GOOD FOR MY IMMUNE SYSTEM!"

The cherubic, red-streaked lass shakes her head as she regards the bearded, brown-haired man with an expression one might reserve for a hopeless drug addict.

The cherubic, red-streaked lass turns and walks from the room naked, the *snap* of a safety lid being resecured to the bottle in her hand following her down the hall.

The bearded, brown-haired man lets out a whimper, looking back to his computer screen.

I'm sorry Ghost, the aforementioned girl wholeheartedly disagreed with the idea of me making a video ... I did try for you though.
