I can't praise this man's music enough folks. He does an amazing cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop as well.  The things he does with that guitar never fail to make me stop and listen.

As I said in the comments, I think my father introduced me to this to watch me cry.

When I was about 13, I wanted to be this guy:

The sword is sharp, the spear is long,
The arrow swift, the Gate is strong.
The heart is bold that looks on gold;
The dwarves no more shall suffer wrong.

I love it! I love the original too, though.

Are we twins? Have you listened to Rake? I posted it on here before. I love her. If she weren't married, and I were a furry man who might garner her interest ...

But alas. I am just a girl, and those pretty pink lips will never sing for me. :(

You put the g to my ya Boo. And I hadn't listened to Rake, but I have now. Super, thanks.

Me too, but this is close enough:

Also, while i'm at it, I saw someone else mention Mumford and Sons. My favourite over the summer was The Cave:

Can't stop listening to this today.
Yeah, I know. No one else likes Popa Chubby. I love him enough for all of us.

Hope you've heard this one, then. If not: .

I'm getting caught up with the latest from Kasabian and Rammstein at the moment, as they both apparently released albums that I missed.

Also, these guys. If you like post-rockish math-rockish type stuff ala Explosions in the Sky and God is an Astronaut, these guys have a similar take on that genre, but with a decidedly nautical twist. At least it seems nautical and sailorish to me.

This is end game music.
A dark-shelled scrab pinches at you, but you dodge out of the way.
A dark-shelled scrab brandishes its bone-handled, obsidian scimitar.
A dark-shelled scrab holds its bloodied wicked-edged, bone scimitar.

When I heard this on Pandora, it sounded so much like Prince to me that I couldn't believe it was OK Go.

Video is cute if you like dogs.

OK Go - White Knuckles
