I had a urge to listen to this stuff:

I think I just wanted to feel the good olde times. In this case, the 30's-50's.

Laura, did weird tribal men follow you around at age 15?
If by weird tribal men you mean Christians then yes.

RIP John Prine

Losing John Prine and Bill Withers both really hurt me. Damn it all.

That Marcus Mumford clip was from Another Day Another Time, a concert doc about the movie Inside Llewyn Davis. ( Or the Basement tapes, which was kind of a spinoff of them covering Bob Dylan D-sides.)

The entire thing is chock full of awesome folk music and introduced me to a lot of amazing artists.

This is MM and the Punch Brothers and is a song my wife knows to play at my funeral. Chris Thyle is a badass on that mando.

I woke up a few days ago with this running through my head. I haven't listened to these guys in forever.

Good stuff. I got to hear Nickel Creek live in Chattanooga a few years back.

Here's you Chris Thile playing a Gillian Welch song in his living room at 2x normal speed: https://youtu.be/Qiija5dBBIw?t=45

If you guys missed it, this is apparently the music moment of this week: https://twitter.com/LisaRieffel/status/1256599946226102272

I've come to the conclusion that relaxing is not the lack of doing anything, but doing something that comes easily to you.

Been listening to "Aviators" quite a bit, recently.  Here are my three favorites:

Streets of Gold.

Godhunter.

Paralyzed.
