We've gone ahead and enabled the use of graphic avatars on the GDB.  You may use remotely-hosted avatars or the ones that come with the GDB.

If you do not wish to see avatars, you may disable them through Profile: Look and Layout Preferences

Nyr: hot newb on newb violence
Ath: Mmmmmm, HOT!
