Hypothetically speaking of course

...what happens when you drive your argosy off the Shield Wall?

(only one way to find out, right?)
hang is actually...

...it falls off, hits the ground very hard, and breaks.

I don't think its any secret that this has happened before.

The physics of it are pretty obvious, yes.  One should wish up to alert the imms, and RP accordingly.  If you're in a clan, you need to mail your clan imm -immediately-.  I will say that it has been dealt with and RP'ed out with varying degrees of damage to the wagon over the years, and your clan imm or another immortal at the time is probably the best one to determine that for you.  I do think in nearly all cases they should be wrecked beyond driving or worse though, but thats just my opinion.
iva La Resistance!
<Miee> The Helper Death Commando is right.

This is what happens.
Names, descriptions and such have been hidden in the interest of IC protection.  To grasp the humor, be aware one of the characters is a half-giant.  Guess which.

You can't seem to control the wagon.
A wagon leaves west.
A wagon has arrived from the east.
Looking outside, you see...

Over the Edge [ESD]
Far below, the sheer face of the Shield Wall slams into the ground.
For some distance from the Wall, the desert floor is strewn with boulders,
even stretches of steppes, and beyond that, the landscape stretches out
endlessly, wave after wave of sand, until it vanishes into the single,
barely visible dark line of the mountain range to the west.
A wagon is here, drawn by some beasts.
As it moves along, a wagon rumbles and shakes.

A wagon plummets to the ground below...
A wagon falls from above...

A wagon plummets to the ground below...
A wagon falls from above...

A wagon plummets to the ground below...
A wagon falls from above...

You shout in sirihish:
    "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Someone falls against a wall, banging its head against it hard.

Someone exclaims, in sirihish:
    "Arrrghhh krath damnit!"

Mycharacter rolls to its feet, rushing over to the Someone.

Someone straightens up, feeling itself for bruises and bumps.

Panicked, you exclaim, in sirihish:
    "Someone oh-kay?!"

Its face grimacing in pain, Someone says to you, in sirihish:
"I think I've broken a couple of fingers, when I tried to push myself away from the wall."

You say, in sirihish:
"Uh oh. Someone hurt, Someone hurt."

The color drained from its face, Someone says to you, in sirihish:
"You try n get us outta this, while I try and set my fingers back right"

You exclaim to the guard, in sirihish:
    "Help Someone!"

You look around for some reins, but there do not appear to be any here.

You say to Someone, in sirihish:
"Problem Someone. Reins go bye bye."

Fastforward.

Someone leaves a wagon.
You step out to...

Base of the Shield Wall [NSWU]
Rising straight up from the ground to dizzying heights, towers the
monumental Shield Wall.  Countless tons of jagged rock shoot vertically
towards the red sky.  The cliff stretches north and south over the land,
creating an enormous shadow for one half of each day, supporting the more sturdy plant life and attracting other forms of life.
A wagon is here, axles broken.

Looking guiltily down at the panelled floor, you say to Someone, in sirihish:
"Mycharacter not practice on wall NO more."

The wagon shudders as it settles further into the desert, its entire frame creaking and seemingly on the verge of collapse.

Our heros tumble out of the wagon, salvaging what they could before it collapsed.
