Oh man, if only that kid was wielding a pair of chipped obsidian daggers, it would be perfect.

You're forgetting NPCs standing over identical corpses.
All the world will be your enemy. When they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.

That kid is smart, I thought I was the only one traveling through the rinth pantless and with a cheap shirt on..
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

He's actually got a butchers knife, you just can't see it.

Photoshop it red and pretend it's a sandstorm in the red desert.

Pretend it's the silt sea.

Strangely enough it's a very, very common mistake. Pet peeve of mine.

Are baltha like... red-furred gorillas?

I think they look like a smaller version of those things from Mass Effect that are all

Sorta like that, I think Except red and snout-ier.

I always imagined the dragon as fat.

Like the adult dragons from Spyro.

Or uh like Spud the magic dragon.

I like how the dwarves aren't fleeing. They are thinking they got this. Well I assumed they were dwarves and that was where they got flamed seiging Allanak,

As the black dragon descends on a gust of foul air, roaring its dread challenge, multitudes shriek in terror, stampeding among the chaos and smoke of the city's ruined buildings.

The battle-scarred, burly dwarf unslings a spider-fang spear from his back.
