Perhaps, you were a somebody. Then something happened, and all the careful planning and the foundation of what you were, that you built brick by painful brick crumbled at one unsympathetic, dismissive flick of somebody more powerful's hand. Everything you've ever known or loved crumbled to dust, and you were forced to run. To hide.
Perhaps nobody cared for you. Perhaps you were born a mistake. Perhaps you grew up scrabbling for leftovers that even rats shied away from. Perhaps you once enjoyed all the luxuries all a highborn enjoyed in shackles, and you traded it all for freedom.
You all have one thing in common - That nobody gave a fuck about you. The ones that do wanted to see your head in a bag, either for coins or for something else. Whira's given you the shit end of the stick, and you're left holding the worst hand in Merchant's Haul.
The only ones you can put your limited trust in are your fellow freefolks. The black and jade laws in the city, fancy Kadians, Salarris, Kuracis, the dusty hunters and grebbers, and the dunehoppers... They are all the same in the sand and the silts.

- Dependable and responsible
- Who can maintain a solid line of communication with staff
- Who wants to play an antagonist, who isn't at all afraid of getting their hands dirty, but balances this all with OOC playability with other players (including victims)
- Who has consistent playtimes
- Who can think out of the box, and can figure out different, creative ways to achieve their goals, even when it sometimes seem options may be limited.
