How do I post images? I don't remember. The image button highlighting the URL isn't working for me.

Image button should be fine, but it depends on the picture, and where its from. Some places don't allow a good hotlink anymore, so you have to either find the shareable URL for it, or find the direct source of the image.

New question regarding the boards: how come I get booted minutes after I put in my username and password and leave the dropdown on its default 'forever' setting ?It happened to me twice today.
There seems to be a problem (https://gdb.armageddon.org/index.php/topic,52579.msg989062.html) with using http://gdb.armageddon.org. Can you try using https://gdb.armageddon.org instead and see if that fixes it?
