We all know the South is old news now.  When is that lovable brown kank going to come north to New Tuluk and experience all the wonderful culture??  The possibilities are endless!

Does that mean Grunt, the lovable twink is going to have a spin off??

That would make you master of 2 comics and the letter "Z".  Quite impressive, you know.

Can see it now... Baobab sitting around a fire with a bunch of half-elves smoking spice and singing campfire songs...

Hehehe.

And then getting killed for being able to talk.

Hey, I said singing... If you listen to people singing now of days a clicking kank probably would sound better... I don't think he talks. Gosh.

Omg yes. This comic was excellent. I could've sworn I had them downloaded somewhere too.  I'd managed to recover like... eps 1-10, and then like 16 & 17 from the primordial eons of the waybackmachine.  Excellent stuff.

Somebody should try and do one of these again...   (Looking at you James de Monet...)

Hmm... actually, that site is still missing a bunch.. There's at least 20 of them. :/

Yeah, I wasn't able to uncover them all. Unfortunately a good number of them disappeared into the ether. :(

Actually, I bet this was made by that guy Creeper386 right there.  A bunch of the other comics are titled "The Creeper".

Actually James De Monet, I did NOT start the Baobod comics. I don't remember who did. I think I had one I did in Paint if that helps ... Everyone was doing it though. It was a craze.

I'm so glad you guys talked about me when I was gone.

I found a cute thread while searching for biography:
Quote from: Sakra on May 31, 2006, 10:06:46 AMThat so sounds like a Baobob episode.
And it led me to this one and I found an ancient lost internet temple :) https://archive.today/2002.12.12-100155/www.baobobcomic.com/shrine.htm
QuoteShrine of BaoBob [S]
Massive blocks of black, gold-veined marble make up the walls in this
vast temple, polished and dully reflecting the temple's contents
on each surface. The domed ceiling, over 50 cords above, is painted in
gold, crimson, and sapphire, depicting a scene of thousands of
Zalanthian denizens, from the meekest beggar to the wealthiest of
nobility, all lying prostrate in reverence of the massive, obese
kank they surround, the gold light of its paint shining brightly. The
walls are adorned at eye level with baobab framed paintings, each
containing six-panel representations of the deeds of BaoBob. The great
temple is all but silent, though the slightest sound echoes in a
surprisingly noticeable reverberation, making the lightest footstep
or quietest whisper audible, if not distinguishable, throughout
the temple.

QuoteThe Dwarf and the Kank – Antechamber [S]

A wide variety of colourful, bizarrely shaped, though immaculately
comfortable couches surrounds you. The dark stained floorboards are
heavily scuffed by those passing in and out, and possibly a few games
of pin the tail on the quirri that got a little rough.
https://archive.today/2002.12.12-130907/www.baobobcomic.com/zsubmit.htm
QuoteBaoBob                  -        Oberon Angus, the Magnificent Many-legged Aphid
Round to the extreme, this veritable orb of kank stands
proudly upon a octet of slender insectoid legs. For some
reason or other, he sports three mighty mandibles, above
which a pair of beady obsidian compound eyes peer forth.
The light, tannish brown of his chitin gives to dark chocolate
around his front, creating a coloured splotch accentuating
his face. A twinkle in one of his compound eyes gives an
atypical sense of intelligence, as though this is more than
just your average kank.
The obese, brown kank is in excellent condition.

Quote from: Master Z on May 31, 2004, 12:30:20 PMI had a hard drive accident which wiped out all my BaoBob prop graphics, and I haven't yet been inspired so sit down and remake them all, and even then I'd have to make a lot of the stuff (the backgrounds especially) from scratch.
Quote from: Master Z on January 19, 2005, 04:13:02 PMCheck out episode 22. As you may know, I lost all of my files that I made the original comics in, but hopefully you'll enjoy this hand-drawn computer-colored sort.
maybe has the finished ones

That was me! Was totally not Baobob. The player that made Baobob comic is the one that introduced me to Armageddon actually. I don't know how much he was playing during my Kelbina time.

Fale did totally have a green and a purple kank suit though. I do greatly miss those.
